Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute of Engineering & Technology marches forward with a preconceived notion of developing students into better human beings. For an all-round personality development, participation in co-curricular activities in encouraged and it plays a vital role in shaping and channelising the restlessness of youth to creative pursuits. It boosts academic performance as well. In concord with the idea, the institute organizes various events. The students are encouraged to participate in various cultural activities like folk dance, theater, music, bhakti sangeet, etc., apart from other co-curricular activities like literary and debates, model making, talent hunt competitions, cartooning & sketching. The institute provides dedicated students counselors. It has evolved a fine tuned system of grievance which involves the faculty. To encourage sports activities, four sports academics are being planned. These will provide training and research facilities in athletics, football, basketball and weight lifting to the students. A dish antenna and gymnasium provide facilities for recreation.
NSS camps and activities are held regularly. Under the banner of SPICMACAY (Society for the promotion of Indian Classical Music and Cultural Amongst Youth), the Institution organized various musical concerts by eminent and world renowned artists. We have had the mesmerizing pleasure of listening to performances by Mrs. Shruti Shidolikar, Pt. Rajan Mishra and Dr. Prabha Atre. Our Bhangra team has also brought us laurels. | |||
