Datta, Ph.D,Prof. & Head Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering,SBBSIET.He was Advisor,Department of Science and Technology,Government Of India and Project Coordinator of "National Center for Medium Range Weather Forecasting," and was instumental in installation of first supercomputer facility in the country.A United Nation Expert on Data processing,He was also the Director,International Data Expert Group.He has contributed over 100 Research papers.He was awarded Government Of India Gold Medal in 1975.He was also the President of Computer Society Of India.
